Can You Really Start An On-Line Business?

I am getting asked that question by more and more people all the time. Since I can only speak for myself, my answer to that is absolutely, but I really take a step back when I hear all this talk about being able to accomplish it in a short period of time. The saying “Individual Results Will Vary” couldn’t be more true in the world of on-line home businesses. How can anyone be able to give any indication of how long it will take you to find an opportunity, set it up, learn how to market it and then actually get on-line and create the traffic needed to build success?

When I first started setting up my internet business, I got hooked on the possibility that it might take only 90 days to see the results needed to actually quit my job. This wasn’t promised or guaranteed in anyway, I want to be clear on that but I was so excited at the very thought of that happening that I jumped in with both feet. As with so many people out there trying the same thing, 90 days came and went and guess what, I was still working at my job and really not even close to being able to do full time work from home. In fact, I racked up a pretty good visa bill in the process jumping from one paid advertising method to the next with limited success.

Being part of a Funded Proposal System has really been the key for me and over the last 90 days, the traffic to my own site has almost doubled. That’s been huge and really the reason for the turn around in my own business. In my view it’s the best place to start even if you don’t yet have an opportunity to offer.
